چکیده
(1) Background: Topical antiglaucoma medications may alter the microcirculation in optic nerve head. We aimed to evaluate changes retinal vessel density (VD) on optical coherence tomography angiography (OCTA) patients with newly diagnosed normal-tension glaucoma (NTG) treated a topical beta-blocker. (2) Methods: This study included 80 NTG not using systemic medication, who received carteolol treatment between December 2019 and November 2020. studied OCTA VD/signal strength index (SSI) after 6-month period determined predictive factors affecting VD/SSI. (3) Results: After period, peripapillary VD increased 40 but decreased other patients. The univariate multivariate analyses revealed that old age hypertension were significant associated VD/SSI decrease treatment. Moreover, high baseline peripapillary, superficial, deep macular VDs significantly (4) Conclusions: Carteolol could increase or NTG. VD, age, affect these changes. Patients higher older are more likely have
